My Story

Animal Profile: BooBoo is a 12 week old Terrier X puppy who will be joining us on 01/12/2025 via our TX partner Saving Shelter Strays. He s a sweet puppy who is well socialized and being fostered in a home with two adult dogs.He is playful, snuggly and sweet. Foster Update: Booboo is settling in well into his foster home! He has lots of puppy energy and is very curious. He gets along great with my resident dog and loves to play and sneak attack her! He especially loves all his chew toys. We are working on potty training, crate training and walking on a leash. He is very attached and will follow me around at my feet. We are working on getting him more comfortable with his crate and being alone. Booboo is very food motivated and very smart however this can lead to being mischievous at times! He has already figured out how to crawl up the baby gate so will need to be watched closely as he learns house manners. He would do well with an active family who can continue his training! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
