Meet Boom! Boom is a 10-12 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier-type mix who is looking for a new family. This 46 lb stocky lil' beefcake is about to steal your heart! Boom was found as a stray and was not claimed by his family, so we don't know what his life was like prior to being found. We can tell you for certain that this sweet, submissive lil dude is going to melt your heart and, fellas, he'd make the perfect wingman! This chonkmonster still has some puppy tendencies like mouthing when he gets excited, but for the most part he's a pretty chill dude! He plays well with other dogs and tires easily - he seems to have an old soul. He's a bit bashful when we first go to get him out of his kennel, but then after that all he wants is hugs and snuggles and smooches. He's just a love muffin! We have SO many ways to describe him! Boom should do well around kids and other pets as long as everyone is properly introduced and supervised. His family should be ready to work through the puppy stuff like basic obedience training, leash walking, chewing phases, and proper socialization. He is very well behaved in his kennel at the shelter, an we think utilizing a crate during his transition should be a breeze! Boom is a good listener with a nice, calm demeanor who just wants to snuggle. While he'll benefit from a daily walk or good sniffies through the woods during a hike, he's not a boy that seems to need a lot of high-intensity activity so he's great for someone who maybe isn't quite a marathon runner. If you love to snuggle, talk baby talk, go for a nice neighborhood walk and then go back to snuggles, Boom is your guy! Boom is neutered and fully vaccinated.
