Meet Boris! Boris is a 5 year old Maltese mix who was found as a stray with an injured leg. Since being with us, he has had surgery to mend it and has recovered exceptionally well at his foster! He loves to run and play, especially with other dogs, but also enjoys cuddling his humans. He is not a fan of being left alone and would love a home where his person could be with him most of the time. Boris would make the most loving constant companion.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog and family’s needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
