Bosco is a 6 month old neutered male Bulldog/Hound mix. From his foster - "Bosco is active, smart, eager to please and loves being around other dogs. He has a blast in doggie daycare with 25+ other dogs. He plays hard and then crashes for a good snooze! He is amused by my 2.5 year old toddler and very patient with her. No signs of aggression have been shown toward people or other dogs. He loves to be outside and will gladly frolic the yard or sit in the grass and watch the cars go by without showing any anxious tendencies to come back in. Bosco is great in a crate and very treat motivated. He responds well to the word 'no' and as a result, he's been quickly learning what is right and wrong to do in our home. He is working on his potty training and leash skills and should be there in no time. Bosco would likely do well with an active family, with or without kids and as an only dog or with other dog siblings. I imagine he would be fine with a cat too, but I can't say for sure since we don't have one. Bosco is the most balanced foster pup I have had. He's doing so well." Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $600, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $500, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $400 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters. Bosco is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $600 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
