My Story

Born in early June of 2024, this tiny dachshund/chihuahua mix is just over 5 lbs. of love and joy. She is a playful puppy who loves to snuggle and keeps herself warm under covers, on your lap, or nestled up with other dogs in the home. She warms up to new people immediately. While she is still growing, she will always be a small pup who happily joins adventures out and about. She doesn't require long walks but does enjoy being out in the sunshine. She does well with children if they are mindful of how small she is and can be careful with her. Brioche is a puppy and is working on potty training and consistently uses potty pads inside while learning. She sleeps through the night but needs to go out immediately when she wakes up Overall, she could do great in a lot of different home environments as long as she has a lap to sit on and someone to snuggle with. Her adoption fee is $350. A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
