My Story

Hello, my name is Brittany. I am a very smart, sweet, friendly girl! I was born in mid-later October and will be probably 40+ lbs full grown. I have an explorer spirit with a streak of independence. I like to be silly and will initiate play. Everyone thinks that I am an Australian Shepherd mix. Even though right now I am just a robust fluff ball, soon I will be very athletic, energetic and capable of amazing physical feats! I am looking for my forever human to be physically active, throw the ball thousands of times, run with me, bring me places like the dog park often and take me on various adventures. Also, I need my forever human to be as smart as me because I must have intellectual stimulation like training, tasks and such. My ideal forever home will have another dog who wants to play in a big fenced in yard. If you fit these qualifications and are prepared to pay a lot of attention to me, please go ahead and submit an application which I will review for consideration. Thank you for your interest! If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! NOTE: Clicking the "Start your Inquiry" button is internal to Petfinder, and will only delay the process - please copy the link and submit the application. The adoption fee of $600 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
