Brody Boy is an approximately 2.5-year-old, male, black Lab weighing 70lbs. Brody was found as a stray and although his family were found, they decided to relinquish him so he is now looking for a real forever home. Brody is handsome with an amazing temperament and personality- he exudes charm. Brody is crate and house trained, walks well on a leash and has impeccable manners. He takes treats delicately and is friendly and affectionate with kids, dogs, and adults alike. Brody also rides well in the car and will gladly hop in to join you when running an errand. Despite his tumultuous past, Brody remains an outstanding companion, deserving of a loving family. He is a wonderful dog and will fit in well with any family. We also highly encourage potential adopters to read and understand our Adoption Contract by viewing our Sample Adoption Contract (https://labs4rescue.com/forms/AdoptContract.pdf). We ask that you please take the time to thoroughly review and understand the policies and procedures outlined on our "Adopt a Lab" page and Sample Adoption Contract prior to submitting an adoption application. To expedite the process, please follow the step-by-step instructions outlined and submit an adoption application listing 3-5 dogs of interest. Please hurry as your new best friend is waiting for you!
ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.
Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
