My Story

Meet Bruno! Bruno’s story is one of resilience and hope. He was rescued as a stray in Puerto Rico, suffering from severe mange and left all alone to fend for himself. Thankfully, we were able to step in and give him the care and love he desperately needed. With the right medical attention, Bruno made an incredible transformation—just look at his stunning coat now! Bruno we believe is —part Lab, part Dachshund, and a little bit of everything else that makes him uniquely special. At 2 years old, 35lbd he’s a sweet and affectionate boy who loves pets, cuddles, and playtime. He’s the perfect walking buddy, calm on the leash, and greets everyone—dogs and humans alike—with a wagging tail. Why Bruno is Amazing: • Crate trained and potty trained • Gentle and non-reactive with other dogs • Great with kids and doggy roommates • The perfect gentleman during car rides Bruno is looking for his forever home where he can continue to shine as the happy, loving dog he was always meant to be. Are you ready to give this sweet boy the life he deserves? Apply today to meet Bruno and make him a part of your family! If you’re interested in scheduling a meet and greet, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPAR/Dog ------------------------------------- PLEASE READ: Any dog that is "house/potty trained" will still need patience in a new home, new people and new schedule. Please be ready to train ANY dog you adopt! Also, please understand we can not guarantee breed or (full grown) size of any young dog or puppy. Thank you for understanding.
