Buddy

Buddy was surrendered with his brother when his owner decided she no longer had time for them? Buddy loves all people and is very tolerable of other dogs. But, he has a bit of separation and crate anxiety and would do best in a home with someone who works remote or is retired. He is total cuddle bug. He just wants to be near his human and loves to snuggle. His favorite place is next to someone on the couch or in bed at night He loves toys(soft toys or chew bones). He loves to go on a walk and gets very excited when he sees you take out his leash! He is pretty low energy for a young shih tzu, but a short walk or two a day really helps him stay on a good schedule. Buddy does have some food guarding issues so he would need to be fed separate from other dogs. He eats very fast and would eat all day if you let him, so NO free feeding is advised! Buddy is a wonderful dog and would make a great companion for someone who wants to spend just about every minute with their dog. He is such a lover and just wants to be loved. He needs a second chance with someone who will take time with him. We believe his previous owner really never gave him much love, so he just wants to please and be near his human. He does require a 4-6 foot fence as he likes to patrol the yard. Buddy is mostly potty trained with an occasional accident here or there. He is not a fan of the crate at all but a crate is necessary due to his separation anxiety when he has left alone. He does know basic commands such as "sit, down, come, stay and no".
