My Story

Buster is a 3 year old, 62 lb, Male, Shepherd Mix Buster is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. Hello, my name is Buster. My hobbies include eating, playing fetch, eating some more, relaxing with my family, and maybe a little more eating. I'm kind of a foodie, so I don't like sharing my food with other dogs - I prefer to dine solo. I do, however, really love people, no one is a stranger to me, especially if they happen to have treats! I am pretty good on a leash, sometimes I want to pull and go faster, but I also listen to my humans because I want to enjoy a nice walk with them. Let's face it, I have to work off some of those calories! I am good with kids, though I can get excited sometimes, but not in a bad way, I'm just a friendly guy. I am good with big dogs but I can be a little too rough with small dogs, so no small pups. Or cats. I've been doing better with cats but I do like to chase them. I am very food oriented, so I would do great with some obedience training that gives me the opportunity to earn my treats. Loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms scare me, but I probably could cope with my fears with some training, patience, and maybe one of those Thundershirts I've seen on TV. I am house trained and kennel trained, but I will admit I'd rather be cuddled up next to you on the couch instead. I am at a great age too, young enough to be active, but I've outgrown that silly puppy behavior. I am just really eager to have my very own family that will love me and work with me to help me be the best doggy I can be, and in return to promise I will be your very best friend! Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $400 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip and transportation) If interested in learning more, please email us at [email protected] or fill out our online application. https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp If interested in learning more about our adoptable dogs, cats and adoption process, or our foster home program, please contact us at above email.
