Introducing Buster!
This sweet guy is about 2.5 years old and found himself in our rescue coming from an animal control in Missouri to avoid euthanasia. Buster is so lovable, playful and sweet! His foster in Missouri described him as being a smart boy, that loves car rides, playing with toys, and swimming! He loves to go on hikes and would make a good running buddy as well! He does well with dogs upon a proper introduction, but would generally prefer to be the only dog in the home... he just likes his space. Buster would do best in a home with older kiddos as he is larger and doesn't always recognize his size. He will make an amazing family member.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
