My Story

Buster is a 5 year old, 59 lb, Male, Shepherd Mix Buster is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. Hello, my name is Buster. I've been told I'm a handsome guy, a bit on the chubby side (more to love!), but I'm a pretty happy dude overall. I live with several dogs and cats, and while I get along with all the dogs, I am not a fan of the cats, so we stay away from them. Boo cats! My hobbies include going on walks, playing fetch, begging for snacks, relaxing with my family on the couch, and maybe some more snacking. I'm kind of a foodie, so I don't like sharing my food with other dogs - I prefer to dine solo in my crate. I do, however, really love people, no one is a stranger to me, and I'm always eager to make new people friends when I'm out and about! I am pretty good on a leash, I get a little excited if I see cats or squirrels, but otherwise I just enjoy my walk, especially when we go to the walking trails. I live with kids and I'm chill around them (more pets for me, right?) I am good with big dogs but I can be a little too rough with small dogs, so I'm probably better off with dogs my size. I'm not that tall, just fluffy, haha! I am very food oriented, so I would do great with some obedience training that gives me the opportunity to earn my treats. I am house trained and kennel trained, but I will admit I'd rather be cuddled up next to you on the couch instead. I would be a great pup for someone who works from home and wants an excuse to take a few mini walking breaks during the day. I don't like storms, but with my Thundershirt on and in my cozy crate, I'm just fine. I would be very happy to have my very own family that would love me and make me a real member of their family. Let's start a weight loss program together, shall we? I will be your dedicated walking buddy! Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada. Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $300 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip and transportation costs.
