Butterball was found chained up to a fence over the weekend. The home owner came home and found him there. They checked their camera and saw a man chain him up several hours before. It was a very weird situation as the dog did not react at all to the man who did it, and the dog did not appear to stress out when the man left him. It seemed as though the dog did not know the man. Unfortunately, no owner has been located. Butters appears to be a middle aged beabull. He isn't as old as his face markings makes him look. He seems like he has been someone's well loved house dog. He is already neutered, and he keeps his kennel clean. Butters is very very shy. It took him a couple days to warm up to us, and now he will come to us for attention. He is not aggressive in any way. He is just very shut down and shy. He has been introduced to a couple dogs. He is the same way with them. He is nervous and avoidant, but he's not aggressive in any way. Butters is available for adoption starting Thurs (9/5). His adoption fee is $70 and includes a license. Give the pound a call to meet this boy. 330-339-2616.
