She has a goofy side that shines through as she loves to dig through her toy bin, creating what we affectionately call her "dragon’s horde" by gathering her favorites in her foster grandma's chair. Candy is a door dasher at heart, but with some training and a little patience, she's learning to stay put when asked. When it comes to toys, Candy keeps it simple. Her favorites include plain balls, her trusty Kong bone, and stuffed animals—though she prefers to shake them rather than chew them. She adores playing fetch indoors and has a knack for dropping the ball on cue without needing to be asked. Candy thrives on playtime and loves to wrestle with her canine foster sister, Thalia. This sweet girl is a certified cuddle bug! Candy loves to snuggle with her humans and often joins Thalia and Kleo, the kitty, for cozy cuddle sessions. If you’re looking for a pup who enjoys being close, Candy is your girl. Candy is still learning the ropes and is working on her leash manners and basic commands like sit, stay, and come. She shows improvement every day but can be easily distracted, so a patient owner will be key.
