Hi! I’m Canelo! I’m sure you’re asking what I’m doing here trying to market myself when my handsome face should market itself, right? Well, you see, a couple months ago the only home I knew surrendered me to a big shelter in TX. In the beginning of December, I hopped a plane with a lot of other dogs and came to Michigan. I’ve been in a few foster homes, because I’ve had people want to meet me and then they back out. Then! I had a family for two weeks, and ya know what? They backed out too! So now I’m trying to decompress and make sense of things in yet another foster home. I’m the most misunderstood guy in the group. Do you know rescue dogs? Do you know the time I need and security to give me to help me until I figure all these hardships out? You’re the hero I need! I know commands, I’m loyal, I’ll stay in the yard (with time of course). I’m a quiet dog, easy keeper, but I need someone experienced in rescue so I’m given my time to shine. Days to weeks isn’t what I’m talking here, commit to me and I promise you’ll have the best companion for all your days!
