Carly *Available for foster to adopt*

8 Months. Spay date Pending. Hound Mix. Tan/Red. 62lbs Say hi to our Carly girl! She was surrendered by her previous owner who no longer wanted to take care of her unfortunately. Carly has some quirks, but under it is a super sweet girl looking to find her place in the world. She can be skittish and shy, but once she has been given the time to get to know you and her environment Carly opens up a lot. The great thing about this goof ball is that other dogs actually bring her out of her shell even more! She will need another companion dog in her home, or have a very good match with patient owners. She loves to chase ball, though forgets the second step of returning it. She was evaluated by a trainer of ours, and it's important to note they saw some slight guarding of her toys so it is important to always trade a different toy with her when playing. Treats are also a great way to get her to warm up, and have her build that connection with you! While she does best with other dogs around we have no known history on how Carly is going to do with cats or children. She is foster to adopt for now as she still needs to be spayed.
