Casey was bought from a breeder, but after a few month it was realized she had a bit too much energy for family. They reached out to us, knowing that Casey needed a better match for her. Casey is a typical puppy, she is very active and playful. She loves other dogs, loves to run and play. She is shy at first, but not super fearful. Casey likes to go for walks. Casey is a typical Dachshund and we are working on crate training and housebreaking. We are not sure Casey's routine before rescue, but housebreaking has been a a typical Dachshund challenge. She has recently started using a doggie door, so she's doing better. Casey would love a home with another dog to play with, maybe a yard to help with housebreaking, parents not gone long hours and lots of love! Casey was groomed prior to coming to rescue, so she has been shaved. Casey's adoption fee: $800 We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day.
