My Story

Cash was born on 3/29/24. He is a black Labrador retriever mix; he is up to date on shots and weighs around 20lbs. Cash is as sweet as they come! He has a loving personality and is learning that he is now safe. Even though he is a little timid when meeting new people, he wants attention and to be a part of the family. Cash is brave and faces his fears in order to explore his new world. Cash gets along great with the resident dogs. He is a chill puppy that loves to play with toys, dogs, and humans. He loves to chew on his toys and take long naps! Cash also sleeps through the night. Cash is doing great with potty-training and hasn't had any accidents in the house! A family with a doggy friend or people who are available to give him lots of attention (and belly rubs) would be ideal. We believe Cash will do well with kids of any age, as he isn't nippy or jumpy. Please note: You must have a dedicated private space for potty and outdoor exploration. Puppies often need additional immunizations before they are allowed to walk in public spaces. Unless an existing good vet record exists, we will not adopt to anyone further than 1 hour drive from listed location. We need to be in close proximity to adopters when we need to follow up on vaccinations and spay/neuter. Pup cannot be left alone for more than "4" hours at a time. This is necessary for comfort breaks and much needed socialization for a pup this age. For young puppies that leave unaltered: A refundable $100 spay/neuter deposit for adopters with established spay/neuter history is required. A refundable $200 spay/neuter deposit for adopters without spay/neuter history is required. If interested in adopting please fill out our no obligation online application at www.puppypawsrescue.org Our rescue requires that all adopter's current and prior animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (DHLPP & Rabies) and preventatives (heartworm and flea and tick), unless there is a medical reason not allowing it. All animals in your household should be spayed or neutered unless medically indicated that they should not be or are currently still too young.
