My Story

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/gener. You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/. Dog's Name: Cassie (CAS1024OWSFD) Estimated Breed: Chihuahua MIX Approximate Age: 2-3 years Approximate Weight: 18 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Cassie! She is a young and active little Chihuahua mix who came to us all the way from Georgia. She is house trained and her small size makes her a nice fit for most any home. Cassie may be a little girl, but she has a great bit heart with lots of love to share with one lucky family. She is ready and waiting to find her perfect forever home where she can show what it means to have unconditional love in your life! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
