My Story

Meet Caz. Besides being incredibly handsome (actually movie star good looks, don't you think?), Caz is the sweetest and smartest Aussie boy around. Despite being abandoned by his previous owner, Caz is practically perfect in every way. It's okay, the former owner's loss is your gain when you adopt Caz. Caz enjoys car rides, long walks in the field, chasing rogue critters, and long naps at the feet of his humans. He has an affinity for tiny humans, and will actually seek out children, as he did at the campground where he was abandoned. His foster family would love to keep him (see above, perfect Aussie), but their lifestyle is not conducive to taking on a dog at this time. Caz is about 3-years old, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He is house trained and a very well-mannered boi. He would be an excellent farm hand, active family dog, hiking and kayaking pal, or dog sport partner. He's very athletic and enjoys learning new skills. He would prefer to move into a family where someone is home most of the time or has a job where he is welcome to accompany his person. If you have a large, fenced yard, or even a farm/ranch, you have the ideal backdrop for this busy guy. Caz is located in Spokane, WA. If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out the application on our website at: https://www.westernaustralianshepherdrescue.com/adoption-application.html. We will not accept applicants in apartment/townhome/condo situations. Caz needs a fenced yard and room to explore. We only schedule meet n greets with a completed application that includes reference checks and a home visit.
