About Cereal:
Hi! My name is Cereal. I'm about a year and a half old (so essentially still a puppy) and probably a Shih-tzu mix. I have puppy energy but settle down quickly in the house. I don't shed and I'm great with other animals. I love kids! I will let you know that I need to go out by getting restless, but I'm still working on going to the door.
I live with two darling little girls, 6 and 8 years old. I love them and they love me! They would have adopted me but I'm so small I can get through their fence. We cuddle on the couch and watch movies together. I don't understand what they are saying, but I listen quietly when they read to me! I love to run with them on the leash. I do jump up but I'm working on that! I am so small that I haven't ever knocked them down.
I'm learning to heel, sit for a treat, and quiet down when I'm told "no bark!" - I sleep 8-10 hours in my kennel - no accidents at night. Putting a blanket over the top helps me relax and settle in. Remember I said I'm still a puppy? It's important to keep things out of my reach. If I can get to it, it becomes a chew toy!
It would be great to have an enclosed yard to run in so that I could get my energy out! This will help me from getting bored and stay out of mischief. I'd love to be in a family with another dog and kids to play with too. But I really just need someone to love me as much as I love them! Lots of belly rubs and cuddle time are a requirement. Could you be my forever family?
Cereal is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.
