Charity

Charity was abandoned in the parking lot at Dogwood Shelter when she was very pregnant. After about a week here, she had her puppies, 11 of them! Most of them have been adopted, but she is still here. Her favorite pastime? Going for walks! While she does have a bit of a pulling habit, we're working on it together. With just a little guidance, she's learning to walk more calmly on the leash, and I can see her progress each day. When it's playtime, Charity comes alive! She absolutely loves her frisbee. Watching her leap and bound in the play yard is a joy; she's so enthusiastic and playful. It's clear that she's got a playful spirit and a zest for life. After some play, she's always ready for those much-loved belly rubs, and trust me, she will roll over to ensure you know just how much she enjoys them! Charity does have a strong personality, which means she needs to be the only dog in her forever home. She tends to come on a bit strong with other dogs, but with the right family, she will flourish.
