My Story

Charity is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Charity is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Charity: Housebroken: She has been great at using potty pads, but is still nervous outside so will need work on going potty outdoors Crate trained: She has not been left at home alone much yet, but she has done well with free roam of a room overnight Leash walking: She is a loose leash walker, but is still a bit overwhelmed and startled at loud city noises Dog social: Yes! She lives with a dog in her foster home and has been doing great. She is very friendly and would love a play partner. Cat social: Yes! She lives with a dog-savvy cat in her foster home and has been doing well. She's been curious but respectful. Kid friendly: Unknown Charity likes: - Playing with a dog pal (or consenting cat pal!) - Showing off her graceful hops - Making new friends Charity is a sweet and silly lady that seems so interested in all attention, human and creature alike. She doesn't bark at anything other than herself when she's riled herself up. Her favorite way to enter the couch is over the back - she hops over like a gazelle. She's a little intimidated by city things (stairs, noises) and would love an adopter who can help her continue to build her confidence! Charity is heartworm positive and on activity restriction. She is undergoing treatment at Ellis Clinic at no charge to their adopter. Heartworm is a treatable disease that most dogs make a full recovery from. You can learn more about heartworm treatment on our resource page -https://www.onetail.org/heartworm/ Charity's adoption fee is $300, and she is ready to give her love to her person! Next steps: Email [email protected] with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/ *** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email [email protected] ***
