Charlie

Charlie came to CVHS when his owner made the realization that he needs a home with someone who is home all the time, and would be happiest not living in an apartment. He is a very social, high energy boy who is looking for an active human to keep him busy. In his previous home, he was happiest when outside exploring on walks. He has prior experience with other dogs of all sizes, and has done great with dog playdates here at the adoption center. With his excited and sometimes jumpy behavior, he is looking for a home with no small children, and absolutely no cats. Again, the home Charlie seeks would be with someone who is also looking for a canine companion around the clock, as Charlie will be very anxious when left alone (even in a car). Staff here are working on this, but it's very difficult to work on separation issues in a shelter environment, and he will need continued support from his next owner. A consultation with our Behavior Specialist is included in Charlie's $350.00 adoption fee.
