My Story

This handsome, well behaved guy is Charlie. He 's a friendly, calm boy who's a big ol' lover & couch hog! Being a stray we estimate him to be about 4 years old based on his pearly whites, temperament & demeanor. At the Vet he weighed in at 52# but does need to gain 2-3 pounds. Even with being under weight Charlie does not lift a lip to anyone around his food or bully sticks. He is an easy going, well behaved dog. Charlie is house broken & crate trained. During his Foster's work days, Charlie is alone about 8 hours. Charlie plays with a variety of toys on a regular basis. Charlie walks well on leash but his Foster prefer he goes to a home with a fenced yard as he likes to run (see Video) Charlie seems to know commands, we are working on figuring out which ques work. So far we have lay down. Charlie is Fostered in a home with a bird whom he ignores in or out of her cage. He's good with & plays with other dogs (see video) another dog in the home in Not required to adopt him. Charlie's Foster Home does not have kids but we suspect he would be fine with kids over 10. A home that's not hectic & busy all the time is what Charlie is used to.
