Charlie is an affectionate, intelligent, and eager-to-please puppy who is sure to melt your heart! He learns incredibly fast—he mastered potty pad training in just one day—and is one of the smartest puppies his foster has ever had. Charlie had a rough start in life after being rescued from the streets of San Antonio. Due to past experiences, he struggles with being locked in a crate and will do best in a home where crating isn’t necessary. However, he happily puts himself to bed in an open crate and sleeps through the night. This playful pup loves his toys and is great at keeping himself entertained while waiting for his person to come home. He’s also a cuddle bug who will soak up all the love and attention you have to give. Charlie is looking for a patient and loving forever home where he can continue to thrive.
