His personal story is a sad one, but he's adjusting like a champ. His papa is very sick and needed Charlie to find another home where he could be loved and taken care of. We are happy to help with that! So far we have seen that he does well with other dogs as long as there is a careful introduction. He can be a little timid...but then so much has changed in his life recently. In his past he frequently went to doggie daycare and dog parks so he has been fairly well socialized. He is quite friendly with people and affectionate. In his current foster home, Charlie is doing excellent with house training, walks well on leash and is relatively comfortable being crated. Charlie would really like a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time. He is still quite young and will require a family who can provide him with adequate exercise for his moderately high energy level. He is heartworm negative and ready for a sleepover.
