Charlotte was released into our care from an animal testing laboratory, along with 19 other beagles, just over four weeks ago, and this little beagle girl is doing FANTASTIC!
Charlotte was very shy and skittish when we first took her in. She had never been walked on a leash, never been housetrained - she'd lived in a cage in a laboratory her entire life.
In just four short weeks, Charlotte has learned to walk on leash and loves, LOVES her walkies! She now goes for long walks and does a little twirl when she sees the leash come out!
Charlotte loves to play with her beagle foster sibling and loves to chase fast things like leaves, toys, and butterflies.
While Charlotte is still wary of humans, she now wags her tail and approaches people and enjoys tummy scratches and pets.
Charlotte is going to be the very sweetest companion for some lucky someone out there.
