Hi, I'm Chase, a two-year-old lab mix with a sweet demeanor and an even sweeter face! Not only am I dog-friendly -- I've lived with puppy pals before -- but I'm calm and sweet with people, too! Doesn't this face just say, "yes, I will be cuddling with you on the couch"??? I'd do well in a home either with or without other dogs; I'm a good boy either way. A couple of things for my adopter to note: I'm a big boy with a deep sense of curiosity about the world around me, so a good fence is essential to prevent unsanctioned wandering around the neighborhood. I'm also heartworm-positive, but Pep's Pals can tell you how treatment works. It's not as scary as it sounds! *** CHASE IS FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our adoption fee is $350 plus health certificate and transport (if you are out of state - varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), spay/neuter, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
