Checker (approximately 35 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. This extremely loveable girl is EXTREMELY people-social. She is the kind of dog who wants to be with you 24/7 and is grateful for any affection that she receives. Checker is learning to walk on leash & making great progress. She participated in doggie play groups at her previous shelter & did well with the other dogs there. Checker is a delightful sweetheart whose #1 dream is to have a fur-ever home of her very own & her own people who will spend plenty of time with her. She is going to make someone very happy!
