Meet Checker, a 1-year-old Goldendoodle with a heart of gold and a personality as charming as his fluffy coat! Weighing about 50 pounds, Checker is the perfect size for cuddles and adventures. He’s smart, playful, and full of silly antics, making him the ideal companion for an active family. Checker gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is kid-friendly, thanks to his gentle and fun-loving nature. He’s up-to-date on vaccinations and will be neutered soon, so he’s ready to start his new life with you. Whether it’s a romp in the yard, a walk in the park, or learning new tricks, Checker is always up for fun and loves being part of the action. If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful, and downright handsome addition to your family, Checker can’t wait to meet you! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications! 2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better. 3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.) 4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees!
