Available for adoption. Located in Bogalusa, LA Chestnut is a Min Pin mix who weighs 15 lbs. She is approximately 2 years old. Chestnut came to us while nursing 7 adorable puppies. We don't know where she came from, or what her story was, but she is the sweetest girl and was the best mama to her puppies!! Her puppies are still available for adoption too!! This 15# girl is a bundle of love and energy. She’s probably the friendliest pup at our rescue—always ready for cuddles, playtime, and making new friends (both human and canine). Despite her motherly duties, she’s still just a puppy herself, full of curiosity and fun! She’s also quite the little gymnast, known for her impressive climbing skills (though we try not to encourage her acrobatics too much!). Chestnut is longing for a family to call her own. She would make a fantastic companion for a home with other dogs, and we can easily see her fitting in beautifully with kids.
