My Story

Meet Chicago & Indiana! Transferred from Broward County Animal Care, these sweet girls have made incredible progress after suffering from a severe case of demodex. Thanks to treatment and care, they're on the mend, and H.A.L.O. will continue to cover the costs of ongoing medical treatment to ensure their recovery is complete. They are wonderfully affectionate and eager to bond with their forever family. Like most puppies, they can be a little "puppy mouthy," so a home with children aged 8 and older is recommended. As a Belgian Malinois mix, they're a high-drive breed and would thrive with a family that has experience with Malinois or similar energetic breeds. They love staying active and mentally stimulated, so a home that can provide consistent training, playtime, and structure will be the perfect fit. They can be, but do not need to be adopted together. These little survivors have shown incredible strength and sweetness despite their early challenges. With H.A.L.O.'s continued support for their medical care, you'll have the opportunity to give them the loving home they deserve--and gain a loyal, affectionate companion for life! Requirements: Martingale Collar; Foster to Adopt- skinAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
