Snuggling up right next to you—preferably in your lap, because he’s convinced he’s still a pint-sized pup. This laid-back guy is as easygoing as they come. Whether it’s a leisurely walk around the neighborhood, a bit of toy-flinging fun, or just sprawling out on the couch, Chucky’s all in. And when it comes to bonding, Chucky’s loyalty knows no bounds—he thrives on the love and security that only a great family can offer. Chucky’s got his manners down pat; he’s a pro at “sit” and “stay,” and he’s even working on keeping his cool when those pesky rabbits and squirrels cross his path. Crate training? Check—though he’s more of a “give me a cozy corner with a baby gate” kind of guy. He’s making great progress with a routine that keeps him feeling secure and comfortable. Now, when it comes to making friends, Chucky’s got a soft spot for the ladies—especially the petite ones. He’s lived with four other dogs and gets along famously with the smaller females. Big boys, though? Not so much. But don’t let that fool you; Chucky was the shelter’s “dainty and gentle” playgroup star, proving that he’s all about that calm, collected vibe. Just be warned: he’s a bit of a mama’s boy and might get a tad jealous when someone else is hogging the attention.
