LOCATION: Aberdeen, NC DOB: 07/11/2023 Meet Cider, a playful and curious pup looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home in Aberdeen, North Carolina. This charming fellow was surrendered due to his owner's moving and divorce, and he's now ready to find a loving family to call his own. Cider is a 2-year-old bundle of joy who loves kids of all ages. He's housebroken but is currently marking due to not being neutered yet. Don't worry, we've got a belly band for now. Cider is a teenager who sometimes needs reminders of the rules, but he's decent on a leash and responds well to corrections. He barks when the owner leaves but calms down shortly. He's a talker in general, so no apartments for him! Cider had no previous issues with dogs, but a toy poodle in his original home growled at him, and he growled back. This led to a tiff with his brother, which is pretty standard for two unaltered males. However, Cider loves the large spayed female dog in the house, and we're looking for a home with one large female pup for him to play with. Cats are unknown as he has never met one. Cider is not food or toy aggressive. He doesn't really know how to play with toys yet but is learning! He loves tug and tries to play with a ball but gets confused about what to do after he has it. Things that he does love include ice cubes and bacon! He will run to the ice maker when he hears it going. Cider is currently working on crate training, and it's going well. He doesn't get on furniture and is content with his dog bed. Overall, Cider is a playful, curious, and attention-loving pup who would thrive in a home with a large female dog and a family ready to give him the love and attention he deserves.
