My Story

Cindy Bear came in as part of litter surrender. She spent approximately four weeks with one of our dedicated puppy fosters. She is now back at the shelter and available for adoption. This is what her foster mom has to say: "Cindy Bear loves to make new animal friends (cats included). She's scared of new people and noises. She is just getting use to the sound of the vacuum. She cries when she's excited to see you, or wants your attention, or to be picked up. She will follow me into every room I go in, and lays at my feet when I'm making my cup of coffee in the morning. She will go to the back door if needs to go out, but if not gotten to in time she will use the puppy pads for the most part. She is a peeing machine. She loves being outside. She does like to sneak through my fence slats, so I don't leave her alone outside. She loves playing with her toys and any human willing to play. If you lay on the ground with her you will get a face full of kisses and your ear nibbled. She is crate training at bed time and when I am not home. She would rather sleep in same room as you and not in her crate. She still has pee accidents in her crate. She has almost mastered sit and wait! She can wait for food, but not treats. She's smart and loves learning new tricks/ things, she's very lovable, and a great candidate for emotional support." She will need someone committed to puppy training and who will continue to provide lots of positive associations with new people. She is nervous and barky with new people at first.
