Clara

Clara and her sisters were found with their mom outside Webster Baptist Church, where they had been abandoned. They are now 10 weeks (plus or minus) and weigh about 5-6 lbs. Their mom is about 25 lbs, and their dad appears to have been a smaller breed terrier. We can't be sure how big they'll be but we expect under 25 lbs. Clara has had her first 3 distemper parvo shots and is current on kennel cough vaccine and worming. She is microchipped. She's too young for rabies but will need that at 4 mos, and she will need regular distemper/ parvo boosters every 3 weeks or so until the vet says she's done. Those shots are crucial to puppies' survival, so she must be adopted by someone who will commit to immediate and regular vaccinations until she's got full immunity. We will check vet references. We would like to see Clara go to a home without small kids as little dogs can be very fragile.
