Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio. Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet and greet with you and Clifford.
Clifford is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
Meet Clifford!
Clifford is a 3 month old (as of 9/17/24) male, american pitbull terrier mix. Clifford currently weighs about 30 pounds with room to grow! We estimate Clifford will grow to be a large sized dog weighing over 60 pounds once he's fully grown. We have his momma dog who is also a pittie mix and she weighs 60 pounds, but we have no clue about the size / breed of the puppy daddy. Clifford is fully vaccinated and microchipped. He will be adopted out on a neuter contract and neutered between 6 months to 1 year of age.
Clifford and his mom were found as strays and wandered up to a good samaritan's house. She graciously took them in and reached out to us for help with getting them adopted and we accepted them into our rescue.
Clifford is such a young pup that he's friendly with everyone he meets! Clifford currently lives with other dogs and cats and gets along great with everyone. He's been to multiple events with the rescue and is always sweet towards kids too!
Clifford would love a fully fenced in yard OR an active family who will take him out on adventures! He's a young pup, so he (and most puppies his age) have some puppy energy he'll need to burn off. Clifford walks pretty well on the leash considering he's such a young pup!
Clifford is mostly potty trained, but we'll be looking for a patient family who will continue to work with him and set him up for success in his new home. He's also doing really well with crate training and enjoys his crate, but again, we hope his new family will be patient with him.
Here's a small blurb about Clifford from his foster mom: Clifford is the most amazing puppy and I'm going to miss him so much! He's brought so much joy to my home! He is incredible at events and so friendly towards everyone he meets. He's great with my cats and of course with the other dogs in the home. We took him to a puppies and pilates event and he just kept going up to everyone giving them kisses. It was the sweetest thing!
All of our puppies under the age of 1 year are encouraged to attend some form of puppy obedience classes with their new family member.
