My Story

Clover aka Chloey Meet Clover, who is also lovingly called Chloey! This charming lady would make a fabulous first-time husky, an endearing family house dog, or an ideal companion for someone who works from home. At 45 pounds, Chloey is a Husky mix, most likely a "Shepsky" (a mix of Husky and Shepherd). Though she may be a bit apprehensive initially, Chloey is eager to please, and once she feels safe, she blooms into a loyal best friend! Chloey is a mild-mannered, quiet teenage husky. With her short, easy-care coat that doesn't seem to shed much so far, she's a low-maintenance option. Though she is young and may shed more as she grows, she rarely vocalizes. She isn't a runner or escape artist, and she's not high-energy-perfect for a more relaxed household. Chloey sleeps in her crate, which doubles as her dresser, housing her bedtime deer antler, doggie bags, and other essentials. She adores her crate and prefers the doors to be left open during the day so she can lounge there when her person is nearby. She enjoys having her favorite person close and is happy to settle on the floor, bed, or her crate if it's nearby. While she appreciates the occasional hike or walk, she doesn't require daily exercise. For a husky, Chloey is remarkably obedient and easy to train. She walks beautifully on a leash without pulling and is very smart, responding quickly to kindness and training. Chloey requires a 6-ft fence and a secure yard since she can squeeze through gaps as small as six inches, but she doesn't jump or dig. She just wants to be with her people. Though she's content in the yard, Chloey would prefer to be a house dog, enjoying short trips to the yard for potty breaks and some morning and evening zoomies. Sweet Chloey is in search of a home where she can be a loyal companion. That's her ultimate wish-to have her people with her during the day. Chloey is a truly easy-going, loving husky, and she is ready to find her perfect fur-ever home.
