Meet Clyde! This 9-year-old English bulldog mix is a bundle of love who recently came into rescue. Poor fella has gotten the short end of the stick all his life, living in a garage where he was kenneled all day; Ella, his husky-mix sister, was also in the same situation and is now up for adoption thankfully. As of November 2, Clyde joined a loving foster home in Vermont. In order to live his best life, Clyde needs a loving home where he is a member of the family living inside the house, not kenneled all day. Have you always wanted an English bulldog but can't have one because you have too many steps for a short-legged pup? Well, this English bulldog mix loves steps/stairs and is great on them, due to his longer legs. Don't let his age fool you either - he runs around the yard like a young pup! He loves to fly down/up steps and run through the snow (with or without toys). He was 74 pounds in November 2024 during his vet visit. Clyde loves to relax, cuddle, and play with toys... plus he likes to supervise in the kitchen, or anywhere food is being prepped or eaten! Clyde loves to be with his people! Clyde loves to get attention, but will let you know when he's ready for it to stop. Clyde is fine with some dogs, but unsure about others. Clyde needs help with leash training, as he is an active puller. Clyde enjoys car rides and loves people-watching. His foster home is helping him learn what a loving home is like, and they are working on leash and other trainings as appropriate. His adoption fee is $200.
