My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Coal was surrendered to PRBJ when his family's schedule drastically changed and they were gone from home more than they were there. Since he is active and needed more attention than they could give, they decided it was best to find him a home where the person or family is able to give him the attention he needs. Coal is great on leash and in the car. He is housebroken and crate trained. Coal LOVES to play fetch. He is a little overweight at 28 pounds and will need a diligent owner to help him on his weight loss journey. He likes dogs and kids but has not had any interaction with cats.Grooming a cockapoo: For curly hair like Coal, brush daily 10 minutes. Professional grooming needed every 4 to 6 weeks to keep coat in good condition, free of mats, and skin healthy. (Dirt, debris and bacteria can become trapped under hair mats, which can lead to skin irritation and infection.)
