ARRIVING IN WI February 28th!
Coasta is a handsome 6 month old male mixed breed dog. Coasta currently weighs about 35 pounds and has a beautiful black and golden coat.
Coasta was found abandoned at a Walmart in Texas. He sat outside the door of the store all day waiting for his family to come back for him, or for a kind soul to bring him food, water or even a a couple of cuddles. He was so happy when his rescuer found him and decided to bring him home! He can't wait to board the transport to WI where he will never have to worry about being abandoned again.
Coasta enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. He loves attention and is very sweet. He can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly!
His foster in Texas says that his recall in the yard is fantastic, and he is extremely food motivated, a fast learner and very gentle! He likes snoozing on the couch and loves to swim in his foster's pond.
He is potty trained in Texas, however his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home in WI.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition.
He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, February 28th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below.
His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should he not be a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
