Cody
Adopted
Breed
Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix
Hi there! My name is Cody! I am a 6 week old male Aussie/Catahoula mix pup who is looking to find my fur-ever home. I was born at the shelter on 01/19/25, and will not be ready to go home with my adopter(s) until Monday, 03/10/25 when I am 7 weeks old. So, for right now, I am available for pre adoption and am able to meet with approved online applicants only. Puppies need a lot of love, patience, training, socializing and guidance as they grow. That way I can be the best family companion I can be. My adoption fee is $125 which includes my neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, 1st dewormer and 1st round of puppy boosters. I am required to return for my neuter and rabies vaccine on Wednesday, 04/16/25. This date is non-negotiable and in accordance with Texas state laws regarding adopting a shelter pet. If you plan to adopt, please plan accordingly for my neuter date. If you are interested in making me a part of your family forever, please submit an online application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applications to schedule meet and greets accordingly.
All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email [email protected].
IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
