Meet Coffman - A Big, Loveable Baby!
Coffman is a 90-pound German Shepherd-Lab mix, and while he may be large in size, he's still very much a puppy at heart. At about a year old, Coffman is full of energy and curiosity, which means he needs an experienced owner who understands the needs of a big, active dog. He's basically Baby Huey--tall, strong, and still figuring out how to navigate the world like the young pup he is!
This lovable guy is a German Sheprador, a mix of two amazing breeds: the German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever. He's got the best of both worlds--loyal, protective, and a great family companion, with a playful, mouthy nature thanks to his Retriever genes. Coffman is happiest when he has something to carry in his mouth (so don't be surprised if he picks up a toy, a stick, or even your shoes!). He's a natural when it comes to alerting his family if anything unusual is going on, so expect him to be a fantastic watchdog.
Coffman has a beautiful double coat that's easy to care for with just a weekly brushing. And while he's not a hypoallergenic dog, his coat does help him stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter--he'll even enjoy playing in the snow if you live in a colder climate!
This big guy is an active dog who loves to run, play, and get plenty of exercise. He's not a dog that should be left alone for long periods, as he can easily become bored and frustrated, leading to some mischievous behaviors. Coffman needs an owner who can keep him busy, provide mental stimulation, and give him the attention he deserves.
