My Story

9 yr old Cogsworth was found as a terribly matted stray by Animal Control. He is now in a foster home getting the TLC he deserves. Here is what his foster says about him... "Cogsworth is an old man who likes to nap hard. He enjoys an occasional short jaunt outside to smell all the smells and he loves rubber toys and stuffed toys. His play is not prolonged, but he still enjoys his toys. He tends to bond very hard to one person in the house and will bark when that person to him is missing. That may mean the person is in a different room or out of the house. Because of this I would not recommend apartment living He is housebroken but due to his old man status he appreciates frequent trips outside, so he doesn’t have any accidents. He appears deaf and visually impaired but definitely sees up close. He does not care how many other dogs (or who they are) in a bed if he wants that bed he will find a way in it as well. He loves our heated dog bed in particular. Due to his older gentleman status at times he seems to get confused or lost and will bark at the door until he is reminded his person is around. He has a very soft coat making it very easy to want to give pets. " To help treat his skin he is on medication as well as eye drops. He also eats a Limited ingredient food. He will be having a dental/mass removal at the end of January. If you would like to meet this sweet little guy, please visit our website to submit an application today!
