Our Humane Society Conan is neither a Barbarian nor a Destructor… in fact, even though he is a 104-pound German/Austrian with perfect physical stature, he will astound you with his quiet, gentle, peaceful, and easy-going temperament. Conan really wants to please and would often saunter over to the human for a kind touch and a soft hug. Even though he is large of form, he instills within the human only confidence and trust as he looks at you with eyes filled with appreciation and respect. When he first came upon the doggy wading pool, 3-year-old Conan paused for a moment to get a refreshing drink. On the next trip around the park, Conan brought smiles to all the bark park participants as he strolled along and again encountered the doggy wading pool where he continued his stride and merely stepped his way across the water without a pause or a concern.
