Condor

Have you always wanted a GSD teddy bear mix?! Well today is your lucky day because Condor is part GSD other part cuddly teddy bear, we are sure of it. Condor somehow ended up at a high kill shelter in Houston. He was added to the euthanasia list after only a couple of weeks because he came down with a doggy cold. Thankfully his foster Dad saw his plea for help and offered to foster him right before his deadline. Now on to the good part! Condor. This guy is adorable. He is always smiling like he knows his hard days are behind him and only great ones are yet to come. He is currently under 60 lbs but we think he needs to gain at least 10+lbs to be back up to a healthy weight. The cool thing is that even though he is a bigger guy he doesn't present as such because he is so gentle. Even when he jumps up for hugs (he is a big hug guy) it's always at the right moment and in an gentle way that is not overwhelming. He is being fostered with a 2yr old and does great with him as well. He also loves all dogs he has met and would love to have a fur sibling in his new home, or at least some dog socialization at a dog park or doggy daycare to run around and get the zoomies out with. If you are seeing a trend here is that he is just about as friendly as they come. Condor is potty trained and knows basic commands such as sit and lay down. He is still working on kennel training, but in full transparency he currently hates it. He would way rather be curled up next to you on the couch or bed. He has never destroyed anything in his fosters home except when left in his kennel he will destroy his dog bed. Condor also walks great on leash and doesn't pull. He also on the quite side and his foster says he very rarely barks. We would consider Condor a medium energy pup who would love a family that will include him in adventures and give him tons of love. We simply adore this guy and think you will too. Condor is estimated to be 1yr old and currently weighs 55lbs. We do not know his actual breed, but we can tell you without a double he is not part teddy bear.
