COOPER

Hi my name is Cooper. When I came into the shelter there was little hope I would make it out alive. I was on death's door (came in looking more like a chihuahua). I was one of the fortunate ones though. I was saved from both my poor condition and euthanasia. A rescue pulled me just in time, and I am now healthy. I have also put the past behind me. I had heartworms and intestinal worms, and have been fully treated. My body has some scars with stories no one will ever know. But my resilience and strength for love have made all the difference (along with an amazing foster mom). I am a happy, cute, and loving boy who is so willing to please you. I am a love bug. I love to go for walks, lay around with you, and watch you do whatever humans do. I am kind of a princess now. I am not fond of the rain... But I will go anywhere you go. I do enjoy a ride especially when it involves a pup cup. Because I mean... come on we both deserve it. I don’t go potty where I am not supposed to, and I like to sleep on a nice cushy bed anywhere (even in a kennel if you prefer). I just love to be near you when you are home with me. I am doggy friendly, and not so sure about these kitty things. However, it is important to note, I enjoy playing with the smaller humans too. They are fun. I would love to be your pup!
