Yall! If you like your dog petite and polite, meet Corinne, she is actual perfection!
Sweet, affectionate, cuddly, dog-friendly, and ready for a dress-up moment.
Petite doesnt quiet capture her itty-bitty frame, this girl is fully grown at 28 lbs. How do we know she is fully-grown? We understand, she looks puppyish, but our medical team estimates she is 3 years old. Once you spend time with her its easy to understand, she has a mature presence and is such easy-going company. Given she is a rescue we cannot guarantee breed or age and her breed truly has us wondering. Itty-bitty-pittie meets boxer? Its not for us to say much more- she is adorable and perfect! See for yourself then come back to read more about her https://youtu.be/X1jzG-Fk-Z4
Corrine is a loving, people-oriented sweetheart who is ready to snuggle and share a few kisses within a few moment of meeting you. Not in a pushy way though, her approach is gentle. We all were impressed by how balanced her energy is, whether it was meeting new people or being introduced to new dogs- she is warm and polite. We introduced her to a handful of new dogs and she was consistently welcoming with great doggie manners. She doesnt get very excited and she is respectful of other dogs play, staying out or joining in depending on the energy. Overall, we didnt see an overly playful side of her, she isnt going to start the play-session but she will hop in here and there. We would describe her as moderately energeticup for a play session or a nice walk, but just as happy snuggling on the couch. Shes shown she can keep up with a lower- to medium-energy canine friend, especially one who isnt too pushy, as she has a gentle approach to her canine companions. She will be a wonderful addition to any pack but she would also be perfectly content being a one-and-only dog if that is what you are looking for. Her playful yet balanced energy makes her great for someone looking for a dog who enjoys both fun and downtime.
Corrine will enjoy walks and is easy to handle on leash, which makes getting your steps in together that much easier. She may occasionally want to slow down to soak up the sites or meet a passer by but she is easy to keep moving when needed. Shes adaptable enough to thrive in a variety of settings, from a house with a yard to an apartment, her energy level and size will fit right in. If cold winters are routine where you are, Corinne wont mind suiting up to go outside and brave the temperatures. We had her out during an unusual cold front so we put a coat on her knowing her short fun wasnt going to keep her warm. Not only did she look adorable but she was perfect- from putting it on to leaving it on- she was unbothered and honesty, seemed to enjoy her cute little coat.
With her laid-back personality and love of affection from her people, she is going to be a wonderful addition to a family or an individual seeking the companionship of a loyal, loving little lady. Corrine is the perfect mix of playful and relaxed, and she is ready for adoption!

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescues hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical caresuch as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic carecan lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.
While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.
It doesnt stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
