Shiela is a beautiful 2-year-old Husky-German Shepherd mix who showed up at our home one day about a year ago, and we are hoping to find her the perfect family. She knows basic commands like sit, lay, and stay— and is a smart and eager-to-please companion. She is very playful, passive, and does well with other dogs, making her a great fit for a home with a canine friend who enjoys active play. Shiela would also make an amazing running or hiking partner for someone who loves outdoor adventures. She is also very sweet with kids, but would be better with a family without very young kids as she is very active. She is good with dog-savvy cats, though she does have an active prey drive, which has made things challenging for us since we have chickens she is trying to chase. Unfortunately, we travel frequently for work, so we can’t give her the consistency and structure she needs.
